Jujhar Khaira #Oilers

2 year I 1-way deal
$1.2M AAV
2019-20: $1.1M
2020-21: $1.3Mhttps://t.co/6ifZy8yjGR
This deal looks quite a bit like the Kyle Brodziak deal last year.
Jujhar Khaira has re-signed with the Oilers. It’s a two year deal valued at 1.2MM AAV a year. Khaira played in sixty games with the Oilers in 2018-19, he finished with 18 points (3-15-18) on the season.
Khaira is one among several contracts that have been tendered to bottom six players today (we haven’t even gotten to Tomas Jurco yet). He’ll likely continue to vie for time on the third line, though he may peak his head out from the top six due to the club’s lack of top six depth on the wings.
