Edmonton Oilers v Vancouver Canucks
Still a hot topic.

Happy Friday, Oilers fans!

Or, at least, sufferers. Oilers sufferers. You suffer the Oilers, at least.

I didn’t catch the game myself but the internet was abuzz last night with the egregious missed tripping call on Tyler Bozak that led to David Perron’s game-tying goal a mere four seconds later.

I don’t know who scored the other and I don’t know who scored for Boston. My interest in the game began and ended with that story. It’s unfortunate the non-call will likely overshadow what was apparently a wonderful performance by rookie G Jordan Binnington.

At least we got to see Boston fans wailing on each other. I indeed did see that. It must be tough to have to suffer for whole entire weeks between championships. As one excellent tweet put it, “even Bruins fans hate Bruins fans.” Astute.

In other news, the Raptors look to take a 3-1 lead in the NBA Finals as game four tips tonight just after 7PM Mountain.
