A busy sporting weekend saw the Raptors and Blues move within a game of their respective titles before Boston managed to stave off elimination last night and push the Stanley Cup Finals to a seventh game. Rory McIlroy won the Canadian Open and took a page out of Canadian (and tour winner) Mackenzie Hughes’ playbook, flashing a Kyle Lowry jersey to appease the congregation.

Those same Raptors look to win their first tonight in five (read: four) games, with tip scheduled for just after 7PM MST. #rapsinfour

We welcomed a new writer into the fold this past week as well, and he made his debut for us over the weekend. Take a peek at Preston’s first article for us! Introduce yourself! Drink up! Be merry!

The Oilers managed to sneak into the news cycle too with a potential “blockbuster” (but with Dr. Evil’s cadence and air quotes) Milan Lucic deal making the rounds among the locals. I wouldn’t get my hopes up, but I do indeed believe in miracles.
