Friday Morning Hot Links

Boston, Colorado even it up

NHL: Stanley Cup Playoffs-Boston Bruins at Columbus Blue Jackets
It’s now a best of 3 for Boston and Columbus
Aaron Doster-USA TODAY Sports

You’ve made it to Friday. Pour yourself a tall one.

Let’s get to the hotlinks.

  • Patrice Bergeron scored twice (including a power play goal) to help put the Boston Bruins right back in the series with the Columbus Blue Jackets. The series is knotted up at two games a piece, they’ll travel back to Boston for game 5 on Saturday night. (Stanley Cup of Chowder)
  • Philip Grubauer turned aside 32 shots for the Colorado Avalanche, while a trio of Avs scored to knot their series at 2-all. The Sharks were held scoreless for the second time this postseason (5-0 to Vegas on the 16th of April). The series heads back to San Jose for game 5 on Saturday night.
  • Milan Lucic sure had a lot of nice things to say about the Vancouver Canucks during his radio hit on Wednesday. (Copper and Blue)
  • Kelly McCrimmon will be GM of the Vegas Golden Knights. So is it going to be Keith Gretzky, Ken Holland, or Mark Hunter? Anyone else? Please? (Lowetide)
  • A BAD TAKE: The Islanders are down 3-0 in their series against Carolina. They’re pointing the fingers at Robin Lehner (.930 SV%, might sit out tonight for Thomas Greiss) and Jordan Eberle, who hasn’t scored in THREE WHOLE GAMES. That’s some sparkling analysis there, Lou. (New York Post)

Carolina looks to go sweepin’ tonight against the Islanders, while Dallas and St. Louis start their best of three.
