Good morning everyone, get through this and the weekend is upon us.
First, Jonathan Willis was wrong a few years ago, and is reevaluating his argument at the time. I like seeing people admit that they’ve been wrong, I guess, but I can’t imagine trying to discredit someone for being wrong years ago either. I’ve been wrong a ton of times, and have never found it to be a big deal. (The Athletic)
And speaking of me being wrong, it turns out that Jesse Puljujarvi’s injury requires surgery and will keep him from playing again this year. I truly believed the team was making it up to trade him in the summer. Oops. (Copper&Blue)
Here’s a piece that also involves looking into the future, and is likely to be used against the author when they are inevitably wrong eventually. It’s about Daryl Katz’s ability to ever fix this team. (Used Cars HERE!)
And tying into that, I covered the Bad Owner Battle from last night, here is the recap. (Copper&Blue)
Lastly, Elliotte Friedman drops some doozies into his 31 thoughts this week. (Sportsnet)
That’s all for now, enjoy your weekend.
