The Oilers are mired in a six game slump (0-4-2). They face off against the Minnesota Wild, who are currently holding the first wild card spot in the Western Conference. Can the Oilers make up some ground in the West?

Oscar Klefbom - Adam Larsson

Brandon Manning

Cam Talbot

Mikko Koskinen

THREE THINGS TO LOOK FOR

  • It’s Cam Talbot’s show once again tonight. It’s his third start in four games. If they’re trying to pump his trade value, it would look good to win one or two of them.
  • Alex Petrovic is a scratch tonight. Brandon Manning is alongside Matt Benning. The defence looks much better with the addition of Oscar Klefbom. I’m really going to feel awful for Brandon Manning when Andrej Sekera is back in town.
  • There’s no Kyle Brodziak in the lineup tonight. Brad Malone will slot in at 4C alongside Colby Cave and Jesse Puljujarvi.

Oilers need a win tonight. Can they pick one up in Minnesota?
