THREE THINGS TO LOOK FOR
- Connor McDavid is back. McDavid missed last contest against the Coyotes with the flu, and it showed. The Oilers get their MVP back tonight against the Islanders. The Islanders allow a meagre 2.32 goals per game, good for first in the league.
- The Islanders are looking to avenge their loss to the Flames last night. Can the Oilers take advantage of a tired Isles club on the tail end of a back-to-back?
- The Oilers aren’t out of the playoffs mathematically yet, but they’re still seven points back of a wild card position. If they’re going to make the last month at least watchable, they could pick up a couple of points tonight against the Islanders.
