THREE THINGS TO LOOK FOR
- The Oilers are a solid six points out of a playoff berth, and they’ve got four teams between them and that elusive second wild card spot. They have a clunker on this road trip, and you can send that sea bag back to shore. The Oilers get the benefit of playing Pittsburgh without Evgeni Malkin, who is serving a one game suspension for swinging his stick at Philadelphia’s Michael Raffl. Is it enough to swing a victory for the Oilers?
- Mikko Koskinen gets the nod for Edmonton tonight, looking for his 15th win on the season. Can he put together a complete sixty minute game?
- Zack Kassian is atop the right wing chart with Connor McDavid to his left. Good on Kassian getting rewarded with some top line time after scoring a goal last game, but it’s incredible to see how bereft the entire right side is on this club. Woof. Can Kassian keep the goals coming?
