The Edmonton Oilers have recalled defenceman Caleb Jones from Bakersfield, they’ve sent Joel Persson down.
This will be Jones’ second stint with the club this season. The southpaw has played in nine games for the Oilers this season. Persson heads back to the farm after spending three games in Edmonton after performing well in Bakersfield.
With Jones returning to the big club, he will likely slot in with one of Oscar Klefbom or Kris Russell, though I think he’s more likely be teamed up with #77.
The Oilers take on the Carolina Hurricanes tomorrow night to close out their four game homestand.
