The Oilers are on the tail end of a back-to-back tonight. Can the OIlers forget about last night’s shenanigans with the Canadiens in town?

The Canadiens are coming off a 4-3 OT win over the Flames on Thursday. Edmonton was on the wrong end of a 5-2 finish to the Penguins last night.

THREE THINGS TO LOOK FOR

  • KOSS IS BOSS ONE MORE TIME: Mikko Koskinen gets the start tonight on the tail end of a back-to-back. If you happened to catch last night’s game, you’ll note that Mike Smith didn’t have a very good time out there. Look for Koskinen to continue receiving the lion’s share of the starts, including this one tonight .
  • SPECIAL TEAMS: Montreal’s PK is 27th in the league at just under 76%. Now might be the time to get that number one power play going.
  • STAYIN’ ALIVE: Last night’s loss kept the Oilers idle at third in the Pacific. Calgary is breathing down their necks with one less point and a game in hand. Can the Oilers put together a full sixty minutes?

Let’s. Go. Oilers
