If the Oilers want to hold on to the top of the Pacific Division, they’re going to have to get back to winning games with fair regularity. They can start with this one against a banged up Wild club with a rookie netminder.

THREE THINGS TO LOOK FOR
- THEY CALL HIM KAAPO - Kaapo Kahkonen is in net for the Wild tonight, and he’ll make his fourth start of his NHL career. He’s 2-1 with a .947 SV% so far, will those numbers stand up to Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl?
- SMITH BACK IN NET FOR THE OILERS: Mike Smith has had a rough go at it as of late, but he’s done well on the road this season. He carries a .903 SV% on the season, but a .923 SV% on the road. Can he get back into the win column?
- NUMBER TWO: Line two has got to start cooking. If it doesn’t, Holland might have to do something crazy like call someone up or make a trade. Wacky!
Let’s. Go. Oilers.
