Arizona Coyotes v Edmonton Oilers
Gaetan Haas - and NOT Zack Kassian - scored the Oilers’ GTG last night, his first in the NHL.

Hi, everybody!

The Oilers played last night so this morning’s menu is full of recaps. An update to ours which had Zack Kassian as the game-tying-goal scorer: it was actually Gaetan Haas, so congratulations to him on his first NHL marker.

The Oilers have some bodies on the farm that might help, but Ken Holland is probably correct to stick to the plan so far this season.

If the Oilers could have completed the comeback, they would have written more history this young season.

Leon Draisaitl is playing as good as anyone in the league this year. Even Connor McDavid.

Mike Smith was named the NHL’s third star of the week after going 2-0-0 with a billion saves after his stunning effort in Pittsburgh.
