Busy weekend as #Oilers play two in two nights, RNH on the shelf with an hand injury, and might Edmonton look to deal from strength soon? AND MORE!

Morning, folks!

An eventful — and successful — weekend’s worth of action with the Oilers picking up four big, divisional points in Las Vegas and Arizona on Saturday and Sunday.

The usual suspects carried the mail in Vegas while the unusual suspects chipped in with key performances and timely depth goals in Arizona. Both Mike Smith and Mikko Koskinen performed well enough to win and they did just that, with the Oilers stretching their division lead over those same Coyotes to 4 points (ARI has one game in hand).

Bakersfield continues to struggle a little bit, but Tyler Benson is having himself a strong November, hoping to earn a recall to the big club soon.

Jesse Puljujarvi continues to be near the top of Liiga scoring, and Jonathan Willis dives a bit deeper into what a trade involving JP might look like. And what it might mean for the teams involved.

Might Dave Tippett’s deployment suggest the Oilers still require a legitimate third-line center? Lowetide argues as much, but for me I think it’s at least as important to find RNH a proper winger. Different ways to make cats into scarves, perhaps.

The Oilers enter a bit of a sparse point in the schedule this week with only 1 game in the next 5 days, playing Wednesday in Denver before returning home to host the Canucks on Saturday night.
