Oilers begin five-game road trip in San Jose tonight, talking Taylor Hall, and MORE!

NHL: NOV 16 Stars at Oilers

Morning, folks!

It’s GAMEDAY, so you know what’s coming today. Keep it locked right here for the best Oilers coverage on the internet (specific to this particular domain)!

Some news yesterday, as the Edmonton Oilers assigned D Joel Persson to Bakersfield as the rookie blueliner’s game has seen better days, but also because D Adam Larsson is nearing a return. In fact, he could draw in as quickly as Thursday.

These Taylor Hall rumors simply don’t quit, folks, so we hopped on that bandwagon and threw our two pennies in the ring, with Jeff arguing that yes, absolutely, the Oilers should be trying to acquire him for a run this season. Adding Hall to the Oilers’ top-six group would do wonders for their overall outlook at forward, but there would be some cap acrobatics required for this season at least.

Connor McDavid was named the NHL’s first start of the week for the second time this season after going completely nuts with 3-7-10 in 3GP over the past week. Let’s do it again.

Check back later for the usuals, and we’ll see you then!
