THREE THINGS TO LOOK FOR
- MIKKO’S MISSION: Mikko Koskinen will make his 2019-20 season debut against his former club. Mike Smith picked up two wins and handled the first two by turning in a .898SV% / 3.50 GAA, can Koskinen better those stats? (Side note: let’s hope so).
- SHEAHAN’S DEBUT: Tonight’s the first night we will get a look at Riley Sheahan in a regular season Oilers game. Sheahan finished last season with Florida, turning in boxcars of 2-8-10 in 33 GP.
- THE REAL DEAL: The season is young, but James Neal will tell you that he’s feeling pretty good after last game’s 2 PPG performance. He’ll team up with Tomas Jurco and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins on the second line tonight, does he have more action in his bag of tricks?
The Oilers are looking to start 3 for 3 in 2019-20, just like everyone predicted. Can they make it happen tonight on Long Island?
