Morning, folks!
It’s Monday morning, so rather than waste your time with a bunch of nonsense like, say, my opinion on things, let’s just get right into it. Get yourself read up on the off day before the Oilers resume their campaign tomorrow night against the New York Islanders.
Push might come to shove next season with more defenders than spots on the big team and a few players who might be exposed to the waiver wire next fall. Gaetan Haas is starting to get acclimated to life as an NHL player. Mike Smith will continue to play the puck despite it being mostly bad. (OK, one opinion.) Kailer Yamamoto has enjoyed a swift start to life in California this season, while his club might be poised for a big year.
