These links are a little less exuberant this morning, as the Oilers offered arguably their worst performance — and inarguably their worst result — last night in Minnesota. The Oilers were soundly beaten 3-0 on the night and, despite chasing the game for more than 40 minutes, didn’t look like a threat to score all night. Another night like last night and most of the enthusiasm and momentum gained from their hot start will evaporate. That quickly. It was that bad.
As you can imagine, recaps dominate the links over the last 12-24 hours or so. Get yourselves acquainted and we’ll all reset in advance of tomorrow’s game against Washington back home in Edmonton.
