THREE THINGS TO LOOK FOR
- It’s time for the bottom six to start putting up some points. The defence has chimed in recently (Brandon Manning, Ethan Bear), but the Oilers could use some help from some folks that aren’t on the top line. Keeping Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl off the ice for a couple of additional minutes earlier on might help if the score is close late in the game.
- The Wild are struggling, and the Oilers can take advantage if they play their cards right. They’re scoring just over two goals a game now, but they’re yielding an average of four. Both categories have them near the bottom of the league.
- Mike Smith looks to keep the good times rolling. Credited with a 23 save shutout in Winnipeg, can he keep the puck out of the net tonight?
Let’s. Go. Oilers.
