Oh, All-Star Weekend is upon us. We were treated to Connor McDavid toasting the competition in yesterday’s fastest skater competition last night. Leon Draisaitl took top dog in the Premier Passing division. Tonight, the three-on-three tournament commences in uniforms that can only be kindly described as hideous. What’s great about the All-Star Game? There’s absolutely no pretense. The goalies are going to look like the expansion era Senators, and that’s OK. The Pacific could lose 11-4 and not a hint of outrage would follow a post game report. Let’s enjoy the moment.
