First off, Scott Howson gives an interview about players and what the plan is. I like a lot of what he says here, particularly about keeping players if they’re ready because the league is trending that way. Fear of rushing needs to die.

Former Oiler Ben Scrivens has been named Team Manager for the University of Denver Pioneers. Looks like he’s given up the professional hockey career. (Denver Pioneers)
