Good morning everyone, here are some links.

Sunil gave his thoughts about the upcoming season. It was pretty positive. (Copper&Blue)

The Oilers will wear a ‘retro’ jersey a few times this season. (Copper&Blue)

Conq introduced me to a fantastic blog, he did a fantastic piece on Kailer Yamamoto. He’s saying a lot of the same things I say, but he does it better, and proves it with a really well done video. Read the piece, and feel free to hop on board the Yamamoto hype train. There’s lots of room. (Petro Praxis)

Lowetide takes a little peak at which forward is going to end up playing on the Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Connor McDavid line. (The Athletic)

Finally, I talked about how I look at a powerplay to decide whether or not it’s good. I may have used extreme hyperbole (outright wrong, actually) in the amount of GAR models there are, but that was a pretty irrelevant part of the piece. Also, it turns out that, hilariously, the people who scream about small sample size, are really good at screen-grabbing the irrelevant parts to represent the whole piece. So new narrative, I’m anti-stats. (Copper&Blue)

That’s all for now, enjoy your day.
