The Stanley Cup has been awarded some five days ago. It’s time to start thinking about the 2018-19 NHL season. At least, it’s time to start thinking about the NHL preseason. For a minute, anyway.
Let’s have a look.

All games on @630CHED. #yeg
THERE ARE 95 DAYS UNTIL SEPTEMBER 17TH
Two games with Calgary, two with Vancouver, two with Winnipeg, one with Arizona and one with Kolner Haie in Cologne, Germany.
The Oilers will then open the season in Gothenburg, Sweden on October 6th against the New Jersey Devils.
I haven’t seen any information about televised preseason games. Like seasons past, I wouldn’t be surprised to see the games restricted to viewers inside Alberta, Saskatchewan the Northwest Territories and Nunavut who will be able to stream the games on the Oilers‘ website.
All games will be broadcast on 630 CHED.
THE REST OF THIS MESS
The regular season schedule will be released in exactly eight days on June 21st. Sit tight!
