NHL: Edmonton Oilers at Toronto Maple Leafs Dan Hamilton-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning, here we are.

Last night the Winnipeg Jets beat the Nashville Predators and moved into the final four. If you’re keeping track of you Bracket Challenge, you’ll notice that I’m still in first place despite the Lightning ruining my perfect bracket. I’d feel really good about myself if I could ignore that I picked the Hurricanes and Oilers at the start of the season.

Lowetide points out that despite the down year, Adam Larsson was actually really, really good. He’ll never live up to the trade, but I’m happy we have him. (The Athletic)

Connor McDavid lit up Norway in the international beer league tournament. He scored a hat-trick. (Edmonton Journal)

The Carolina Hurricanes are going through some very strange changes, Jeff points out the opportunity. (Copper&Blue)

Jason Gregor is far more optimistic about Drake Caggiula than I. I’d be happy if the Oilers didn’t bother qualifying him. (Oilers Nation)

That’s all for now. If you’re headed to the gold course this weekend, I’ll be the guy in a Hawaiian shirt and bright blue golf pants. Enjoy.
