  • Afternoon game! Yeah. The Oilers are terrible in afternoon games.
  • Second of three games on this road trip, the Oilers find themselves in Arizona to take on the Coyotes. The Coyotes are absolutely dreadful this year. Sixteen wins in fifty-eight games is simply woeful. If the Oilers would like to win another game sometime this month, their best chance is likely this afternoon.
  • Adam Larsson has returned to the club, though it’s not yet clear when he’ll rejoin the lineup.
  • Laurent Brossoit was called up on an emergency basis. Maybe we see a backup goaltender in Colorado tomorrow. I regret to inform everyone that Keegan Lowe was sent to Bakersfield.
