THREE THINGS TO LOOK FOR
- LOOK FOR THE NEW GUYS: Joseph Gambardella is playing in his first NHL game. Called up from Bakersfield, he leads the Condors in points (12-9-21 in 28 games). Meanwhile, newly acquired Alex Petrovic is on the top pair with Darnell Nurse. Brandon Manning is on the second pair with Adam Larsson. Pray for us.
- With Alex Chiasson injured, and Drake Caggiula subsequently traded, Jujhar Khaira gets some top line love with Connor McDavid and Ty Rattie. Leon is back on line 2, while Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Jesse Puljujarvi get to see if this is the night that Milan Lucic can score his third goal of the 2018 calendar year.
- Peter Chiarelli tried to trade Ryan Spooner to Chicago yesterday, but that didn’t come to fruition. Instead, he’s back form the scratches and on the second line with Leon Draisaitl and Tobias Rieder.
Let’s all have fun out there.
