THREE THINGS TO LOOK FOR

  • Simple stuff here: secondary scoring is again in need again. I’m not ready to call Alex Chiasson’s hot streak off yet, but he’s not going to shoot at 40%+ forever.
  • Kailer Yamamoto has been sent to the AHL along with Jesse Puljujarvi about three weeks later than they should’ve. That’s still a rogue’s gallery for a right wing position from top to bottom, and it’s a shame that no one’s shouting about it. The right wing stinks since Jordan Eberle has been moved for Ryan Strome. Fight me.
  • It’s really two things to look for. There’s no Jesse and the Oilers need secondary scoring off the McDavid line. Let’s make it happen out there.
