THREE THINGS TO LOOK FOR
- Holy cow, Jesse Puljujarvi is back. Remember him? Me too. He’s back on the third line with Milan Lucic and Ryan Strome tonight. Would give me no greater pleasure than to see him score one tonight. Also, Drake Caggiula is on the top line with Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Connor McDavid. Yeah. Watch for that.
- Mikko Koskinen is set to make his second start of the season for the Oilers. He picked up the W in Nashville on Saturday, which was nice. Let’s see him do it again tonight against Chicago.
- The Oilers let a completely winnable game slip between the cracks on Tuesday versus the Wild. Minnesota was in Edmonton on the tail end of a back-to-back and hung around long enough to score two power play goals in the end. Chicago is in the exact same boat. The Oilers have to put the foot on the gas early and nail it to the floor.
