Good Morning everyone, I hope you enjoyed your weekend.
The NHL All-Star game took place yesterday and the Skills competition was Saturday. McDavid won the fastest skater as expected, and then won the whole tourney with the Pacific team. He earned a nice 125k in the process. (Sportsnet)
Here is a nice prospect update. As you can see, Kailer Yamamoto has been on fire as of late, he’s almost back to the same pace as last year. Hopefully that stops people from thinking he isn’t making the Oilers squad next year. (Oilers Nation)
Gary Bettman made some comments over the weekend regarding goal tender interference. It sounds as though he’s seen enough of those calls just like the rest of us. (Sportsnet)
Russo wrote a nice piece on Brock Boeser, his path to the NHL and childhood struggles. It’s a long read but pretty damn good. (The Athletic)
On a funnier note, Denver’s PHWA leader, Mike Chambers, would prefer you get in a cage with him than chirp at him on twitter. He’s going to be in town on Thursday covering the game against the Oilers. Unfortunately, MMA is not legal in Edmonton, so if you choose to beak him, make sure you have a venue outside the city.
Please, come chirp to my face and I'll show you hockey. Not on Twitter. Just you at me, in person. You'll have to sign a release and then we'll be good. Need to be legal. MMA is legal. Hiding behind the computer stinks, pal. I'm all about hockey and its code. https://t.co/PMwCOUzkeB

That’s all for now, enjoy your Monday.
