Good Morning, I have a few hot links kicking around.
There will be some season previews going on in the next few weeks. There is a secret formula to making predictions and DownGoesBrown has you covered. (The Hockey News)
Shane Doan has called it a career and he says it was the most difficult decision of his life. If we’re being honest here, he wasn’t the one to make that decision as much as his level of play at 40 years old. Still, he had an above average career and there is no reason you should let a few on and off ice incidents deter you from saying “classy” 600 times until his retirement is old news. (TSN)
Sportsnet will be airing every Edmonton Oilers game this season so you don’t have to worry about missing Connor McDavid highlights. Along with that, Drew Remenda will be doing the color commentary. I’ve included two links here because I don’t understand how these twitter reaction pieces are considered news. (NHL.com and Edmonton Journal)
Just in case you were wondering, the Oilers still have question marks in the RW position. Until Jaromir Jagr is signed, these articles will continue. (The Hockey Writers)
That’s her for the day, enjoy.
