The Oilers are up 2-1 and although they were doubled up by the Ducks on Sunday night by a 6-3 margin, they can again regain control of this series with a win tonight. A 3-1 series lead shifts back to Anaheim with the chance to close out the series on Friday.
A 2-2 series is a whole new ball game.

Kevin Bieksa will also be out tonight, so we will most likely see Anaheim’s best possible blueline again tonight. Anaheim’s blueline is second in points these playoffs only behind Nashville’s. Continued production from their puck-moving defense will go a long way to getting Anaheim to the next round.
Edmonton will be sitting pretty with a win. They’ll begin preparing for a three game series if they do not.
