The Oilers’ incredible season rolls on.
After a regular season that saw them finish second in the Pacific Division with 103 points and a first round victory against the San Jose Sharks, the Oilers will begin a second round matchup with the Ducks on Wednesday. Winners of the Pacific Division, Anaheim took care of Calgary in four straight games in the first round.
Anaheim has been off since Thursday and will have had nearly a full week’s rest before hosting Edmonton for game 1 at the Honda Center on Wednesday, April 26th. Edmonton won their first playoff series in eleven years by taking care of the Sharks on Saturday night by a 3-1 score.
