The Oilers’ four game win streak was snapped at the hands of the Anaheim Ducks last night. Edmonton is in Colorado to face an Avalanche squad that’s struggled mightily this season.

Two easy points. Right?

What To Watch For From The Oilers

Cam Talbot finally showed his human side when he was pulled after allowing four goals. Laurent Brossoit stepped in and stopped 16 shots, allowing none. Edmonton is going back to Talbot after his forgetful start. We’re hoping for Vancouver Talbot instead of Anaheim Talbot.

What to Watch For From The Avalanche

From Mile High Hockey

Good evening ladies and gentlemen. Your Colorado Avalanche take on the McOilers of Edmonton tonight at the Pepsi Center. Gamer time is 9:00pm ET, 7:00pm local and will be broadcast on Altitude with Moser’s radio call available as usual.

Other than a goalie swap, lines are rumored to be the same as last time. Good call, that went well.

Sounds like the opening lyric to Harrison’s “Crackerbox Palace”

Final Thought

The Oilers are tired, and they should start Laurent Brossoit after pulling Cam Talbot last night. They’re not going to do that, but they should handle the Avalanche without trouble anyways.
