Edmonton wants to forget all about last night's 4-1 loss in Tampa Bay.  They'll have an opportunity to do that as they are right back at it against the Panthers tonight in Florida.

What To Watch For From The Oilers

Oilers will need to forget last night's game in Tampa Bay that saw them go down 2-0 on two goals by Ondrej Palat. The Oilers scored one goal against the Lightning, and two goals (and one empty net goal) against Chicago on Friday.  The Panthers are going with James Reimer in net tonight.  Can the Oilers regain their scoring touch?

What To Watch For From The Panthers

From Litter Box Cats

"This just-completed five-game trip had a little of everything for Florida.  The Panthers won two wide-open games - 7-4 in Nashville, and 6-5 in overtime in San Jose to start the swing.  They then gave up just four goals the rest of thew ay, winning 4-1 at Anaheim, 3-2 at Los Angeles and finally 2-1 in St. Louis when Vincent Trocheck scored with 4.6 seconds remaining."

Florida is on a five game winning streak.  They've played their way back into the playoff picture, now holding the second Wild Card in the East.

Final Thought

Oilers laid an egg last night in Tampa Bay, but still hold one game in hand against the Ducks.  With the Ducks in action against the Bruins tonight, an Oilers victory would keep them in second place.
