Talbot Shines Again
Cam Talbot turned aside 38 shots and Milan Lucic scored a big game winning goal on Friday night as the Edmonton Oilers scored a road victory in Chicago. Matthew Benning got his first NHL goal when a weird bounce off of the skate of Trevor Van Riemsdyk careened behind Corey Crawford. The Oilers were heavily outshot, but Talbot held on as the Oilers emerged victorious in Chicago.
Tied with the Ducks in points (but with two games in hand), the Oilers are in Florida to take on the Lightning tonight. Can the Oilers continue their march to the second season?
The Oilers are saying
"We're holding each other more accountable than in past seasons and that's very important. It starts with the coaching staff and filters down to the leadership core and onto every guy in our room. I think taht's helping our team grow and become a team that can play with any team in the League. "

That's Oilers winger Matt Hendricks on team accountability.
Hendricks didn't score in Chicago, but he has three points in the two games before that (2-1-3).
The opponents are saying
"He's a gifted, gifted player. You get him that close to the net with the puck and a little bit of time and space, he can do some pretty magical things, and you saw that tonight.
That's Lightning head coach Jon Cooper on Jonathan Drouin.
Drouin had an unbelievable goal in overtime against the Colorado Avalanche on Sunday night. Go on, take a look. Drouin is currently third in team scoring with 36 points(17-19-36)
