Good Morning, I don’t know about you guys, but this has been a long week. Let’s have some links.
First things first, Lowetide’s prospect updates. A lot of them look really good and the Oilers should have three prospects in the WJC this year. (The Athletic)
The Oilers have some serious penalty problems. Jim Matheson has the latest, and does so without any gentle tickles or telling people to get a life. You can click the link or pick up the used car ads paper. (Edmonton Sun)
Here’s some footage of Todd McLellan at practice yesterday. He wasn’t happy. (TSN)
Finally the NHL is very close to expanding to Seattle. The Board of Governers have given the city permission to start exploring the idea and doing a ticket drive the way the Golden Knights did. It’s looking pretty close to a reality. (Sportsnet)
That’s all for today. The Oilers play two games this weekend, one tomorrow and one Sunday. I’m not overly optimistic but I sure hope for a better effort than what I saw against the Flyers. See you soon.
