Good morning, lets get today out of the way and prepare for the long weekend.

Due to Wednesday’s performance, TSN has decided to count down Connor McDavid’s top 10 plays. Who wouldn’t want to see some highlights? (TSN Video)

The Chicago Blackhawks pounded the Cup Champion Pittsburgh Penguins into the ground last night. Patrick Kane had 4 points, Brandon Saad had 3 goals and the grossly overrated Jonathan Toews managed only one assist. None of those totals were as many as the NHL’s new season scoring leader: Ryan Hartman. The man had 5 points. (Sportsnet)

Jason Gregor talks about the Oilers defense and how good it was against the Calgary Flames. I think he’s downplaying Klefbom but I agree we need to remember that it was just one game. (Oilers Nation)

In the Players’ Tribune, Kevin Shattenkirk talks about what it’s like to join the New York Rangers. As with most of the ghost written pieces it’s not the most incredible insight but is worth a read. (The Players’ Tribune)

That’s all for today. Tomorrow we will have all the game coverage here. Have a fantastic Thanksgiving! Hot Links will return on Tuesday.
