Free Agent Frenzy

2) here to get your rocks off on the Taylor Hall Massacre™ and whatever (likely) goofy things we see the Oilers do today.

30 teams are eligible to go fishing for what they believe will be a tonic for what's ailing them.  The Edmonton Oilers need....

1) a top four right-handed defenceman

2) a backup goaltender

3) a bottom six centre after buying out Scorpikoski

4) a backup goaltender

5) Old Vienna.  (the oilers don't need Old Vienna, but it was my idea)

Am I forgetting anything?

The Oilers could spend some money today to help bolster the blue line.  They might (read: are going to) throw a truckload of cash at Milan Lucic.  The Oilers traded Taylor Hall less than 48 hours ago.  That was dumb.  Whatever happens today, be sure to check back early and often as we watch the first day of silly season unfold.
