Tonight's Storyline

The Oilers play their league leading 78th game tonight. unfortunately this is just about the only category that the Oilers lead the league in. Tonight's game versus the Los Angeles Kings will also be the Oilers 14 game of the month, as the team has essentially played every other night for the last four weeks. Why do I bring this up? Well, because after tonight the Oilers schedule goes from a sprint to a slow crawl to the finish, with the team's final four games being played over the last two weeks of the NHL's schedule. Seriously, who makes a schedule like that?
