I am very excited to return again this year with another set of profiles of the fantastic players on the University of Alberta Pandas hockey team. The Pandas are currently in third in the Canada West Conference going into the winter break.

When did you start playing hockey? I started playing hockey when I was four so I've been playing for about thirteen years
What is your favourite thing about hockey? I'm a really competitive person so I really enjoy the challenge and I also really love the team aspect like how your teammates also become you best friends.

What is your favourite thing about hockey? My favourite thing about hockey has to be the lifelong friendships I have created throughout my career. I wouldn't have those special bonds if it wasn't for this sport.

Which shootout move is your favourite? My shootout move that would be defined as my favourite would be to come in left hand side of the goal fake forehand shot then roof the puck backhand.
What is your favourite food? My favourite food is Pie. Not all types only super sugary and sweet kinds like strawberry rhubarb. Definitely not blueberry or pumpkin.
What is your favourite movie? My favourite movie is Pacific Rim because it reminds me of a scene from my favourite movie as a kid which was Spy Kids. Also I want to control a super huge robot and save the world. Or Suicide Squad because I love Harley Quinn!!
If you were stranded on an island, what three things would you need? If I was stranded on an island I would bring my best friend because he is very strong and can build things for me, a princess crown because if I'm stranded I might as well claim myself as queen of the island, and a robot that finds water/food, helps my friend build things, cooks, and can signal planes flying over head for help if I choose to want to leave.
When did you start playing hockey? I started playing hockey when I was 5 I believe.
What is your favourite thing about hockey? I enjoy how no game is ever the same. No matter how good or bad it goes it will always end, and life move on. And whether its a win or a loss you get to start over again. In life you might not always get a second chance but in hockey there always seems to be one.

The Pandas will return to action in the Canada West Conference on January 6, 2017 and look to better their record. They’ll play a non-conference game against MacEwan on December 30, 2016 in Provost. More Pandas profiles will appear over the holiday season.
