"I'm 100% & excited to get back." @zkassian9 following #Oilers practice today, expected to return for #NYRvsEDM tomorrow night
— Edmonton Oilers (@EdmontonOilers) November 12, 2016
After missing three games with a lower body injury, Zack Kassian will likely be in the lineup for tomorrow's game against the New York Rangers.
To make room for Kassian, the Oilers assigned Taylor Beck to Bakersfield. Beck appeared in one game, registering eight minutes of ice time, two hits, and one shot attempt.
With the right side being in what I'll kindly call a less than desirable place right now, Kassian saw some action on the second line with Benoit Pouliot and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins before missing the last three games. With Tyler Pitlick scoring two goals in his last three games, Kassian may replace Anton Slepyshev on the fourth line, who has averaged ten minutes per game.
Kassian has four points (2-2-4) in twelve games this year.
