Tonight's Storyline

With yesterday's cuts the Oilers are down to 30 players in camp. Most of the final spots are spoken for but there are a couple still up from grans and a few players dressing tonight for the Oilers are looking to make the case that it should be them that ends up sticking around. Up front the Oilers will dress Jesse Puljujärvi, Drake Caggiula, and Tyler Pitlick, on the blue line you'll find Matthew Benning, Griffin Reinhart, and Eric Gryba. Mileage will vary on how likely each is to make the team, but it not impossible for any of these players to make this team. In fact. we could see a final roster that includes anywhere from one to four of these names on it. At least the preseason matters for someone.
