Tonight's Storyline

I'll admit it, I stopped being a fan of the NHL's outdoor games a while ago. I feel like these games should be something special and if you have four or five a year they don't seem very special after a while. That opinion puts me in the minority though, as proven by the fact that these games consistently sell out despite the fact that tickets are very expensive and sight lines often. To each their own. You enjoy the spectacle of the game, I'll worry about the weather, how that might affect the ice conditions, and what player might get injured as a result. Actually, enjoying the game sounds like a lot more fun.

Line Combinations

Just one change in the Oilers lineup this afternoon: Jesse Puljujarvi returns to lineup, replacing Anton Slepyshev on the right side of the third line.

Forward Lines
Milan Lucic - Connor McDavid - Jordan Eberle
Benoit Pouliot - Ryan Nugent-Hopkins - Zack Kassian
Patrick Maroon - Leon Draisaitl - Jesse Puljujarvi
Tyler Pitlick - Mark Letestu - Anton Lander

Andrej Sekera - Kris Russell
Darnell Nurse - Eric Gryba
