From Vernon, BC, it's Kraft Hockeyville!
The Oilers trotted out a clunker in Winnipeg on Friday night. Some more cuts, some lineup changes, and some more of the usual vitriol after the lines.

- A FEW SMALL CHANGES: A bucketful of Oilers were sent to Bakersfield, most notably Jujhar Khaira.
- I know Eric Gryba is on a PTO, but they've got him with Mark Fraser tonight and I can't imagine that helps his case out to earn a job. He'll more than certainly have his opportunity to stand in front of some shots headed his way while he and Fraser are on the ice.
- YAK IS BACK: Nail Yakupov will see his first action of this preseason, and he'll be next to Kris Versteeg and Drake Caggiula
- IT TAKES TWO - Brossoit is scheduled to get the start. I'm not sure if he's ready to be the number 2 on this team yet, but I'm looking for just about any good reason to put Jonas Gustavsson on a bus to Bakersfield. His career SV% should be a good start, but here we are. Brossoit backed up Cam Talbot in Wednesday's 5-1 loss to Winnipeg, but didn't see any ice.
- OH YEAH?
Lightning have released James Wisniewski from his tryout.

Did I mention that Gryba and Fraser are running together tonight? Hi, James? This is Connor.
- 27-97-14 is going to get another look tonight. Some good things on Wednesday night in Vancouver, and some definite room to grow. Tonight all the growing comes together, yeah?
- MAKIN' IT: I've still got Drake Caggiula and Versteeg as those who stick around for opening night against the Flames. I don't think I could've seen Puljujärvi anywhere but Edmonton a couple of months back.
