A New Look Up Front
Without Connor McDavid and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins there simply aren't a lot of good ways to deploy the Oilers forwards. In the last game the team had Matt Hendricks centring the second line, tonight when the Oilers take on the Stars it will be Benoit Pouliot filling that role. With Rob Klinkhammer and Jordan Eberle on the wings. Seriously. Oh, and Nail Yakupov is on the fourth line after a rather ugly game against the Lightning on Tuesday.
Oilers change-up the lines: Klinkhammer-Pouliot-Eberle, Hall-Draisaitl-Purcell, Hendricks-Lander-Yakupov, Kassian-Letestu-Pakarinen

Oilers at Dallas - Game Day Must Reads
Talbot Back In Net
There's no word yet on who will play defence for the Oilers tonight, but the man who will be tasked with trying to cover for their mistakes will be Cam Talbot. Talbot returns to the Oilers' net after getting the night off when the team visited the Tampa Bay Lightning. Compared to the team's other option Talbot has been pretty good of late.
Since Dec. 11th: Cam Talbot 26GA/416 SA (.938 svp) in 14 appearances Anders Nilsson 28 GA/193 SA (.855 svp) in 7 appearances
