Luke Gazdic Scored A Goal, The Rest Of The Team Did Not
The Oilers are saying
"It (Taylor Halls' ankle) wasn't responding like we wanted it to...He's going back to get an MRI just to make sure that we know what we're dealing with. Then we'll go through the process after that."
That's Oilers interim head coach Todd Nelson on the progress of Taylor Hall's ankle injury.
Shut him down. Seriously, turn the covers over and call it a season. Hall gets blasted on his ankle with a puck during practice, he sits out a game, he plays the next game, then he re-injures his ankle. Now he's getting an MRI.
I'm going to go back and watch the Sharks game and put a marker on 4 white. You know, just so I have all my ducks in a row before I go all rage-y.
The Opponent is saying
"Six goals is unacceptable. There are a few plays I have to bear down on and be better. I felt good the whole game but...a few bad bounces and I have to be better. Be bigger and stay with it more"
- Taylor Hall is back in Edmonton for his MRI. Benoit Pouliot is also out again tonight. Other than the netminders, the lines remain the same as they were in Toronto.
- Ben Scrivens (9-17-7, .894 SV% / 3.05 GAA) starts the first of a back-to-back for the Oilers. Cory Schneider (19-19-5, .924 / 2.30 GAA) will get the nod for the Devils.
- GIVE ME ADAM LARSSON - That's all. I'll give you Andrew Ference. And something else good. Would I re-draft him at number one in front of Ryan Nugent-Hopkins in 2011? That's a tough call. Would I trade a lot of things for Adam Larsson? Yes. I do not want Bryce Salvador. Or your Zidlickys. Speaking of which, is Oliver Ekman-Larsson still available in Arizona? Asking for a friend.
- Did anyone other than me get a real Cam Barker vibe here?
