The day that we were all waiting for finally came on Thursday night in the form of Connor McDavid's first regular season NHL game. I have to be honest this felt like Christmas day combined with my birthday and a snowday in which Edmonton was hit with it's twice weekly blast of 500 feet of snow in January causing everything to come to a standstill and thus only encouraging sports watching.

McDavid may not have had a point in his debut vs St.Louis, but we saw flashes of his brilliance, something that I accurately portray by running across my apartment.
