Like Sam Gagner, Ladislav Smid, Theo Peckham, Taylor Hall, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, Nail Yakupov, Tyler Pitlick, and some others I'm missing, the Oilers look like they're going to needlessly rush a guy into the NHL.

At some point, Batty is going to have to take over player development.
