Martin Marincin Recalled

So far there has been no official word from the team but it looks as if Martin Marincin has been recalled from the Oklahoma City Barons. If he hasn't been recalled then the team has added his name to the Barons transaction list in what would be a very cruel joke. Thanks to @Balf82 for catching this.

There is no corresponding demotion on the transaction list so we don't yet know all of the details, but at this is a move that the vast majority of fans have been calling for, many pleading for, since opening night. And while this move alone won't wash away the stink of failure associated with the first four games of the season, or magically transform the defence into an NHL calibre group, but at least it's a step in the right direction towards icing the best available team.

Perhaps we spoke too soon. The link above no longer includes Marincin's name on the transaction list. Well, it was fun while it lasted.
