EA Sports released their annual pre-season NHL simulation and it does not bode well for the Edmonton Oilers:
EA predicts 83 points for the Oilers and a 12th place finish, well back of 9th place - the spot the fans have the Oilers in, and well back of a significant improvement like in 2008-09.
The simulation has the Kings beating the Blackhawks in the Western Conference Finals and the Bruins taking down the Blue Jackets in the Eastern Conference Finals. The Kings take home The Stanley Cup in 2015, according to EA.
EA has Anze Kopitar winning the Conn Smythe as the Kings take the Cup and the Selke as best defensive forward. They've slated Sidney Crosby to win the Hart Memorial, the Art Ross, the "Rocket" Richard, and the Ted Lindsay Award
It's not all doom and gloom, however, as there is one bit of good news:
The Calgary Flames finish last in the NHL.
