Your Favorite Oilers Fan Moment From 2013

What was your highlight from last season?

Anger. Frustration. Sadness. Apathy. Outrage.  Oilers fans went through a variety of emotions as the team faltered and fell well out of the playoff race in 2013.  The 3-7 finish to the season was at best unpleasant, but it did free the team from the grip of the Tambo era.

While you ponder your favorite moment, I'll nominate my own.  While there was a worldwide reaction to the other, now more famous celebration, my favorite moment of 2013 was Nail Yakupov's goal celebration after winning the game in overtime against the Phoenix Coyotes on January 30th.  Ryan describes it here:

That set the stage for another impressive goal from Yakupov. After Taylor Hall's point shot bounced into the air and Yakupov, like he did against the Kings last week, knocked it out of the air and into the back of the net. Yakupov's shot is remarkable but so far this season it's been these ridiculous hand-eye coronation moments that have gotten the most attention.

After taking abuse from the fuddy duddies and blowhards after his celebration against the Kings, this time was a bit more subdued.  Yakupov chose instead to imitate Maximus Decimus Meridius:
